Algeria was a key zone during the Africa war between the British Armoured Divisions and Germany's Rommel Corps. Containing many valuable resources more importantly oil, fighting escalated into rapid and short ambushes over a large perimiter.

It was in Algeria that the Desert Rats were able to drain Rommels oil supply to Berlin and create a ever existing strain on Axis Operations in the future. Before the American Invasion, Africa was won by the Axis, however the German High Command ordered Rommel to the mainland and forced a tactical retreat from the region to ressuply axis forces in northern France.

Their are two main attack routes in which units can take. These attack routes split inside the large Mosque and fan out to East and West. However, defenses at the main attack routes are plagued by limited cover and concealment which will mean defenders may use delayed defenses and scouts to lure the enemy into ambushes.
